| Introduction | I live in Massachusetts, but work for Virginia Tech's College of Natural Resources & Environment in the National Capital Region. I teach online, do a lot of research, and work with graduate students across the US and around the world on environmental sustainability issues. Professionally, I am considered a social ecologist, but I am interested in how our social systems interface with the natural world, for both better and worse. I am also interested in the role that communications and information technology can play in making those impacts more good than bad. |
