| Introduction | I am a fortysomething first time mum of a now five year old boy. Becoming a mother in my forties combined with yoga and blogging has been a huge change of life for me as I hurtle towards same! I love my family, my blogging, my yoga practice and my adopted feral cats. I took a career break from my job to care for my son and my mother. I was due to return to work in November 2012 but because of the recession my job is no longer there for me. I have extended my career break for the final year and been placed on a redeployment list. I thought my career was mapped out and my job was safe but have learned that nothing is guaranteed. Life in my forties is a whole new adventure. Its up to me to make the most of things, come what may! |
