| Introduction | I was born and raised in beautiful Laguna Beach, California. After graduating Laguna Beach High in 2000, I moved to Boulder, Colorado where I earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado. After earning my undergraduate degree, I moved back to California and started my first career in sales. After being laid off in late 2008 like so many others, I began to search for a career that would allow me to experience my true passions. Having had a life long interest in gardening and agriculture, I enrolled in the Horticulture and Landscape Design Certificate Programs at Saddleback College. In the spring of 2009 I received a Scholarship from The Lake Forest Garden Club for “excellence in horticulture and landscape design.” I am passionate about organic gardening and sustainable landscape design.I will continue to pursue my education this fall. |
