Introduction | I come from a family of dog lovers. I currently have two rescue dogs: a husky/terrier mix and an akita/border collie mix. I also have a rescue cat. A few years ago the writing bug bit me again but this time it was specifically about a family obsession: dogs. The majority of my stories were purchased and published by The Carolina Weekly Newspaper group appearing in Charlotte Weekly, Mint Hill Weekly, South Charlotte Weekly and Union County Weekly. Metrolina Dog Reporter is a portfolio of those stories and hopefully somewhat of a community service as well. |

What's the most amount of sand you've ever had in your swimming trunks?
Zip! I can honestly say I have never worn swimming "trunks" but I have worn a bikini. I have put swimming trunks on my dog, Blanco, to keep him from chewing a hot spot. We got rid of our sand box after we adopted our cat, Oreo, so sand is not a problem at our house or in Blanco's swimming trunks.
