Introduction	My passion for aviation started as an 18-month-old baby when my parents first took me to the annual Biggin Hill International Air Fair… Thirty-three years on I have yet to miss a single Biggin Hill Air Show and its date is firmly fixed into my calendar! As a youngster I would always look up to the skies at the sound of an aircraft overhead, in fact I still do…without fail. My aviation hero’s are many, but there are no doubts that the sight and sound of an awe inspiring air display by the Red Arrows, or that of the late great Ray Hanna, would always prickle the hairs on the back of my neck. My infatuation with the world of aviation has inevitably lead me to the Air Show world in a professional capacity too. Working for the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) in the Flight Operations Inspectorate General Aviation section, my main is to Adminsitor Permissions and Exemptions for Flying Displays and Display Pilots, as well as covering a broader spectrum of the General Aviation Industry. In my spare time I attend many of the events in the Air Show calendar and work independently as a freelance aviation photographer. I guess you could say that its work and play for me.
