| Introduction | I am a recent graduate of the University of Missouri- St. Louis with a Bachelor of Biology and Bachelor of Secondary Education. And yet, I really do not want to teach! Not yet at least! One thing I've learned is that if you want to teach others, you have to get out there and tackle life first to have the experiences. So far I've tracked lemurs in Madagascar, have become an expert at judging and showing poultry, have acted in multiple productions of musicals and plays, been a motivational speaker, was president of a 4-H club, and the list goes on. I one day hope to work for the DNR or Fish and Wildlife or... well, anywhere I can get my hands dirty in the environment (especially water quality)! Until I find the job, I'll keep on trying to gain those life experiences. Next stop: Graduate school at University of Illinois, a pilot's license, getting into kayaking, etc. etc. etc. Carpe Diem! |
