| Introduction | WHAT: We will exist to live out Col.2:2 through the areas of encouraging and connecting with moms in the area with one thing in common – children! Each meeting will consist of a devotional, sharing prayer requests, a light brunch provided by the attending moms, a speaker/craft/educational topic or celebrations at holiday times. We wrap up the meetings with discussion and encouragement. A vital part of this ministry is the mentor moms that we will have at all times with the ladies at the tables, sharing their own stories, experiences, and praying faithfully for these ladies. WHEN: Moms R Us will be meeting on the 1st Tuesday(Evening 6:30-9m) and 3rd Tuesdays (morning 9am – 11:15am) of each month WHO: This is for moms of school aged and pre-school aged, and soon to be born children too. Homeschool moms are also encouraged to join us, as will have an area set up for an educational session (video or lesson & time older ones can work on their school), so that they can count it toward homeschool hours and the older children won't feel odd being the only older youth there! We invite moms of any background - churched or unchurched - all are welcome. |
