| Introduction | National Master (NM) Erwin L. Carag is the Philippines 14TH international arbiter (IA). He was a former Philippine national kiddies chess champion. He garnered the national master (NM) title in the 1991 RP - Far East Bank and Trust Company, Inc. (FEBTC) International Open Chess Championship. He was elected founding board member of the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP)in 2000-2001. He is affectionately called "chess coach ng bayan." His motto is : Win in CHESS !
