| Introduction | My name is johnnie and i am a 22 yr old from Durham.My poker background is rather brief,I started playing for fun in early 07 playing on 888.com $5 SNG's and like most i imagine was immediately a losing player. I then tried my hand at cash games in the summer and was a poor b/e player although I came 3rd in a the cryptologic $20k for around $800 and instantly thought i was on the quick road to success(haha!) Like a typical broke student instead of exercising good bankroll managament i blew the lot on a new laptop, so poker followed a typical cycle of deposit-busto,deposit-busto until around November 07. The reason wasn't because i was a terrible player but simply had no concept of BR management and would move up at any sign of successs. In Nov i made what was my last deposit on a poker site. I deposited $100 into ladbrokes and 2 tabled $50NL(LOL great Br Management) With 30%RB at the time i was confident of not going busto,which looking back is ridiculous. Anyways since that time I have moved back home after finishing my studies. |
