| Introduction | I’m a first time blogger! I work as librarian at the University of Cape Town’s undergraduate Knowledge Commons facility. Our facility runs 74-hours of the week & we see around 8 000 students per week… Each day brings new and exciting challenges. The Knowledge Commons operates with three full-time staff members and 22 dedicated student assistant! I consider the student assistants, known as Navigators, as the backbone of the facility and cannot imagine a day at work without the zeal and passion they bring with them to help us to serve our users. |
