Introduction | Sir Hubert H. Humphries was born in a small dustbin just outside of Buckingham Palace on February 31st, 1885 in London, England. Rising from the rank of common rubbish, he went on to success as the creator of turnip flavored Jaffa Cakes before finally receiving a B.S. in Historical Ramblings from Oxenfridge University, a lesser-known sister college to Oxford and Cambridge. He is now regarded as one of Britain's leading experts on history, and is considering writing a book about it sometime soon. Currently, he writes historical radio commentaries from the comforts of a middle-class dustbin just outside of Trafalgar Square, where he resides with his pet hamster, Vergil. |
