Introduction	After a somewhat adventurous history, during which time I thought I might be an opera singer, molecular biologist, psychologist, or a marketing manager, I now find myself embarking on the one career I always hoped for but never thought would actually be possible: being a housewife. At 28 years of age I am thrilled to be staying home taking care of my husband and our baby daughter. I love learning about classic housewives of the past and am attempting to master the many arts that filled my grandmothers' and great-grandmothers' days: following Jesus, baking bread and pies, canning preserves, vegetable gardening, cooking from scratch, sewing clothes, cross-stitching, and keeping a tidy house. I certainly have a lot to learn, but each day is a new adventure!
