| Introduction | I have a BA in Fashion Marketing and am currently extending my education (and my student loan accumulation) with a BA in Mass Media Communications. I am presently the Marketing and Media Director for a finance/consulting firm. What I do in my spare time is what this blog is about. I am a person of many words, most often descriptive and insightful words. My many unspoken thoughts and revelations have been accumulating in notebooks and diaries over the years and have become somewhat of a hobby of mine. When I am inspired or compelled to get my thoughts down on paper in order to organize them and paint a clearer picture of what is bouncing around in my head, I am often plagued by the amount of time I can spend expressing myself. Many late, sleepless nights I have found myself pouring words out of my heart and unscrambling them into lines of insightful poetic prose. I may be the only one who understands the true point of the writing; but my words are my own and you may form your own opinion and interpretation of my views and thoughts. | Interests | I am a woman of many favorites No one thing defines me. I believe variety is the spice of life, and I am one to add flavor to everything (literally and figuratively speaking). I am a shopaholic, constantly indulging in my lust for fashion. Although my fiscal status does more accurately reflect my poverty and not my fantasy, I do what I can with what I have. I enjoy cooking. Concocting delectable taste sensations bursting with color and flavor has become a new passion of mine. In my home growing up, my culinary-inclined mother was a creative kitchen connoisseur always introducing new tastes to our palate. I am a person who loves to travel and experience new things. I am smitten with New York City and all of the history and culture that pours from the buildings and the scenery. I have always been curious about Italy and all of its beauty and culture. I find serenity and comfort in bubble baths. I love to write my thoughts down and express myself in especially descriptive words. I can tie any memory I have to a song; both sad and happy. I find myself constantly living my life as if it were a movie. I am always scripting out the scenes around musical scores befitting of the moment. I am a hopeless romantic; I love surprises, ice cream, baseball, fireplaces, wine, and conversations with people close to my heart. I have a soft spot for little old men and women with stories and memories from their youth; I can’t get enough of “Grey’s Anatomy,” shiny lip gloss or Marilyn Monroe. I love to be among friends, laugh and make others laugh, I'll try almost anything once...and probably already have. I admire people who make a difference, someone who has lived full and free and is adventurous and accomplished. I'm adventurous and outgoing. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and that the only thing you can do with life is to live it and live it well. |
| Favorite movies | Personal faves would have to be "Serendipity" "Breakfast At Tiffany's" and "The Seven Year Itch" Anything with with Marilyn Monroe, Brad Pitt, or Hugh Grant is fine by me! "Two Weeks Notice" and "Just Friends" are 2 movies that I am addicted to for humor at the moment. I'm a sucker for old-school romances, and pretty much everything else. |
