| Introduction | Life has taken me on a roller coaster ride! After graduating from Cedarville University with a major in English Education in 1996, I returned to Toledo, Ohio and taught English as a Second Language for 8 years. All the while, I worked as a waitress. I remained loyal to the The Cooker until it filed bankruptcy, then thankfully was taken on at Mancy's Italian. Mancy's offered me an incredible experience that it truly molded me for my next career adventure... I moved to Texas to live with Bret in 2005, completely abandoning the education scene. Hired as Leasing Agent for CWS Apartment Homes, I enjoyed career success and also met my husband! Dave lived in one of my communities. Since I did not date residents, I gave him the brush off, but we became fast friends. When I was promoted in July 2006, I left his community, so we lost touch until January 2007. I went to fill in for a missing manager, he came into the office, then we stood in the parking lot for 4 hours until he asked me on a date. The rest is history! We became engaged in February 2007, married in July, pregnant in September, bought our first home in February 2008, then became parents in May 2008! Life is good! |
