Introduction Erika is a full-time Volleyball Club Director, Personal Trainer, and triathlete. Erika competes in triathlons (completed her 8th Ironman in November 2012) and hopes to qualify for the Ironman in Kona for her 2nd time in 2 years in 2009. Her biggest achievement in 2008 was competing at both the World Championships for Olympic Distance in Vancouver, Canada and the World Championships for Ironman Distance in Kona, Hawaii- in the same year. She is also proud of setting a personal best at Ironman Arizona in November, completing her final IM of the year in 11:01:30 and taking 4th in her Age Group. Erika’s favorite motto is “Hard things take time to do. Impossible things take a little longer.” She believes that your mind is your biggest hurdle to overcome and supports getting out of your comfort zone. Erika was a graduate assistant volleyball coach at North Dakota State University for two years while getting her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from North Dakota State University.
