| Introduction | I was born in Harlingen, Texas and moved at a young age to Southern California. I lived there for over 40 years, married had 2 children (Billy & Shannon). One of my biggest accomplishments, other than raising a family, was forming a Ladies Tennis League in Yorba Linda. It was called Hill & Canyon. We started with 4 teams and over the years it grew to 3 divisions with at least 10 teams in each division. None of that would have happened without the best tennis coach in all of Orange County, Steve Johnson. He is the one who encouraged our group to play tournaments. Through our success because of him eventually the league was born. Years later we moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming for my husbands work. He is the Firechief of a refinery in Cheyenne. I still play tennis in the summer, but I also started a business (Teacups & Twigs). I now have a web site, of course, Teacups & Twigs, and I am very busy with all of that. I now have 2 grandsons, Kevin 12 & Cole 6 months. I am a Christian and God's work in progress. |
