| Introduction | My name is Erin Cain and I am a junior at El Cerrito High School. I have started to become more involved in my community over the past three years by joining and leading extracurricular activities. I have played varsity softball for the last three years at El Cerrito High School. I have also been a part of the debate and the mock trial club where we meet weekly and learn about current events, about argumentation, and the United States Justice System. I am involved and interested in making the school a greener place. I am president of Green Justice Club and president of the Garden Club where we maintain the school garden and are developing a plan to bring the produce we grow into our community. I am excited to have the opportunity to participate in the Woman and Leadership course at Brown this summer to learn more leadership skills and gain the tools to help me make a bigger impact on my community. |
