| Introduction | Marc Dimmick is an accomplished artist whose creative journey spans decades and continents. Born in Portsmouth, England, his passion for art began in childhood, transforming his bedroom wall into a mural at age nine. After moving to Australia in 1971, Marc's artistic focus evolved during his early career in the Army, where he created intricate table decorations as a chef, earning accolades at the International Salon Culinaire. Encouraged by his wife, Frances, he rediscovered sculpting in 2016, formalizing his skills through masterclasses with renowned artists. In 2017, Marc expanded into painting, guided by techniques from artists like Bob Ross and Michael James Smith, creating landscapes, portraits, and impressionist works. His photography over the past 30 years captures stunning landscapes and evocative scenes from his travels. Marc regularly writes articles on LinkedIn and has been featured on the CIO website and other technology platforms. He is currently working on his first book in a trilogy called "The Eternal Awakening," with the first installment titled "Call of the Unknown." |
