| Introduction | I'm a fiercely independent thinker. That doesn't mean I don't listen to other ideas, just the oposite, in fact. I do reject mindless dogma and empty rhetoric, but am open to any reasoned argument. I hope to inspire more individuals to involve themselves in the workings of their country, demystifying these processes through accounts of my own experiences and observations. I've never been a partisan person. I find it absurd to vote for, or even support, people based on such a hollow criteria as party alliance. It means nothing. I have learned, however, that within this system the only way to have a "valid" voice, is to make sure you have that little (R) or (D) attached to your name. I believe the Republican party was founded on solid, honorable ideals, and - if repaired - may be the best vehicle for returning freedoms to our people and respect to our nation. If not, we'll try something else. |
