Introduction I performed from 1973 to 1995 with a couple years off in between. I did an aerial cradle act for three years, low wire as a clown, trained llamas, ponies, then lions and tigers for 15 years. I am now a firefighter, a member of the Circus Historical Society and an author of several circus and carnival related subjects.
Interests Circus, Circus History and Elephants in particular, Wood carving, Carousels, and Collecting PEZ dispensers.
Favorite Movies Jazz Singer with Neil Diamond and Lucy Arnez, Eddie and the Cruisers, Arthur, Miracle on 34th Street ( All 3 versions ), Christmas Story, Any of the Abbott and Costello movies, Anything with Tom Hanks.
Favorite Music Eagles, Journey, Chicago, Alan Parsons Project, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Merle Evans.
Favorite Books Robert Parkinson's Directory of American Circuses is my research bible, Slim Lewis's I Loved Rogues, Circus Doctor, Facing the Big Cats, Wild Animal Trainer in America, and the CHS periodical the Bandwagon.
