Introduction	I am a senior mechanical engineering student attending the University at Buffalo to continue my Bachelors degree after graduating from Nassau Community College with his A.S. in engineering science. Current interest are in Design and Optimization, Research and Development, and Modeling and Simulation with a focus within the automotive field. I am a member of the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program, CSTEP, aimed to help and assist underrepresented students obtain research experience within their respective STEM fields. I am also member of the National Society of Black Engineers and was SUNY Buffalo Chapters Vice president for 2010-2011. I have presented my research project at several conferences, in which I won several awards for his research on the "Automotive Instrument Cluster Implementation with Motion Based Simulation" done within the NYS Center for Engineering Design and Industrial Innovation research center at UB. My future plans are to attend graduate school at the University at Buffalo with a focus in Design and Optimization within the mechanical engineering program.
