| Introduction | I willingly give up any high paying job for the joy of getting paid in the smiles of my children. I'm quite a different person than who I was for most of my life. I met Jesus and have been changed by the grace of God. I have been married for 8 years and have 3 little girls (Hailey 7, Ashley 3, Avaline 1) and a baby boy (Blake born Oct 5th). I like to go against the grain of normal. I stay at home by choice, We exceed the standard family size, I homeschool our children, I drive a minvan, I believe in courting instead of dating, I am helping raise our daughters to be wives and mothers instead of college students and career women, I don't think submitting to my husband makes me a doormat, I don't have cable/online/satellite /local TV, I grind wheat to make bread, I sew for my kids, I don't do Santa at Christmas, I can't stand subdivisions or city life, I don't like projection anything or short stories at church, I am a Calvinist, I am covenental vs dispensational, I don't eat steak or any meat on the bone, I look forward to getting a cross breed dairy goat, I can't stand sports and yet, I think all of that unconventional way of thought/life makes me more sane :) |
