| Introduction | My name is Linda, a cute, modern name of the 1950’s, my parents adored. I like my name too and although I’m not a cute toddler anymore, I love modern art, modern décor, and modern technology. I decided to write a blog for three reasons: First, it is a creative outlet for my 30,000 words, that those scientific studies have reported women need to express on a daily basis, as opposed to men’s 15,000. (That statistic makes total sense by the way, as we need to say everything twice before men actually listen!) Anyway, I like to talk. My husband, however, doesn’t talk. Oh, it’s not that he can’t talk; it’s just that the words he does say are usually well thought out and profound in nature, as opposed to my endless chatter, addressing a myriad of subjects. But he is one of the good guys, the ones with the white hats in the movies. Secondly, I’m writing a blog to talk about my personal journey with Lyme disease for others out there searching for answers to their mysterious symptoms. Finally, my blog is a way to look at my past and present life with humor, because as the old proverb says, “Laughter is the best medicine!” |
