Introduction I am a small-town girl who never went anywhere other than one state over while growing up. All that changed when I was 15 and on my first plane to visit family on the opposite coast. The Travel Bug bit hard and I've been addicted ever since! I've traveled the country and the world, worked for Club Med, and was VERY big into sports & fitness: Horseback riding (all my life), mountain biking & street biking (raced both), snow skiing (hit a tree and lived!) and water skiing, scuba diving, white water rafting, softball, bungee jumping, etc. I was in the Marines briefly, and a cop most of my career. However, my 'warranty' ran out when I turned thirty and everything broke. All that crazy living has taken its toll. Since then, I've had three back surgeries and a foot surgery which have cut out most of the things I love to do. It also forced me into early retirement at age 39. It was depressing as hell until I decided to suck it up and enjoy whatever I can! I have lived an amazing life and now I'm going to share it!

If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying 'poop deck'?

Avoid laughing? What's wrong with 'POOP deck'? I hang out with pirates as a pass-time. Sad to say that if any one of us said it, it wouldn't phase any of us in the least!
