About me

Introduction	I began running at the age of 9 when I entered the local turkey trot with my father. After running cross country and track in high school, I was the NCAA runner-up in cross country at Stanford. After graduating, I continued to compete for 8 years while being sponsored by Nike. In that time, I placed as high as second in the US, 22nd at the world championships, and competed in 3 Olympic Trials and 15+ national championships. After retiring from competition, I have coached high school teams, first-time marathoners, law enforcement officers (including SWAT and Secret Service), and many others.
