| Introduction | I am Claude Monet, well known impressionist artist. I was born November 14, 1840, in Paris, France. I started painting at a very young age, and hardly stopped until my death. I painted over 2000 pieces, each one unique. I had a wife, Camille, and 2 sons, Jean and Michel, but my beautiful wife, Camille died in 1879. I later remarried. I had a very successful life. I died December 5, 1926, in Giverny, France, at the age of 86. |
