| Introduction | I love travel in all of it's forms. I research destinations and resorts for fun, plan perfect dream vacations, and pick up travel guides and brochures where ever I find them. This obsession with travel began at age 15 as I traveled with my family to Hawaii. I loved every moment of that adventure and hardly noticed I was one of only 6 people on the trip who was not a senior citizen (the other five were my family members). At that point, destiny came into view. I earned a BS in Travel and Tourism from BYU. After a few years working in the travel industry, my focus turned to my growing little family. My children became my clientele. As my oldest son's kindergarten teacher once said, "your son lives a very enriched life". (Not many kindergartners had the fortune of already criss-crossing the country and visiting the major points of interest along the way.) My goal to travel to all 50 states is nearly complete--three to go: Louisiana, Wisconsin and North Dakota. Join me as I chronicle the adventures of this goal, and along the way I'll share my favorite family friendly travel tips and points of interest from the great United States of America. |
