Josh, Sandy, Jaclyn, Kinsey, and Caleb
| Introduction | Josh and I are the proud parents of three amazing kiddos - Jaclyn Jolie, Kinsey Belle, and Caleb Troy. Jaclyn was born August 2007 at DC Children's after being diagnosed with HLHS and a Restrictive Atrial Septum. She had a cardiac cath procedure immediately after birth and the Norwood 3 days later. While recovering from the Norwood, Jaclyn had a stroke that effected the entire left side of her brain. Jaclyn had the Glenn in Jan 2008 and the Fontan in Nov 2009. In Aug 2012, she had a complex partial seizure that sent us to the CICU for several days. We learned that her seizures originate from the damaged portion of her brain from the stroke. She is on a seizure med and we have to watch her carefully since her seizures are triggered by sickness and being overly tired. Kinsey was born April 2009 and is heart healthy. She is a complete joy and an awesome little sister to Jaclyn and a big sister to Caleb. Caleb was born Oct 2012. After some concern about valve regurgitation, his heart function has been declared normal. He endures his sisters hugs and kisses as well as any good brother should. Josh and I feel incredibly blessed to have the amazing family that we do. |
