| Introduction | I am a fairly fortunate 'lady of leisure' in my early sixties, mother of two grown-ups and happily remarried. Now that I am free I've realized I am a hopeless amateur in all the leisurely things. So I am trying to learn to pursue my true aspirations now that I finally have nothing to hide behind. This perfect kind of life for me will have much to do with TRAVELS, CULTURAL& NATURAL EXPERIENCES, my ‘HANDMADE TREASURES’ and THRIFTING. We recently moved from the countryside not far from the capital - where we used to have a job - to a downtown apartment in Turku feeling excited to start a new phase in our lives. For years, I cherished a daydream-like vision of a cute little B&B I’d start up at a picturesque place somewhere on this planet. Whenever we are travelling I still can’t help spotting deserted buildings with plenty of potential for reclaiming. Who says all dreams should be meant for implementing?
