Introduction	Barbara Kellom loved reading her Scholastic books under the awning of her front porch on rainy summer days. The only child loved reading, reciting and writing poetry, and was a published poet at the age of nine. Poetry served as a calming force in her youth and even in maturity. Her most recent endeavor, Magic Giggles & Love, is the result of that love aided by the belief that poetry is an underrated learning tool for children. Barbara currently lives in Michigan, where she volunteers at her daughter's non-profit, gardens and hangs out with friends and Coltrane, the family dog.
