| Introduction | My late father was the first professional photographer I knew. I remember him using my siblings and I as his models in order to perfect his photographic skills. He loved it and it showed. I discovered my love for photography early on in life, but never pushed myself to pursue it. There were other things I loved more (writing, music, singing), so I never bothered to ask my Dad to teach me his craft. Photography for me has become one of those things that has gradually taken on a life of its own. I'm grateful that I can say that I now love it equally as I love writing, music, and singing. Not only has it become a way for me to continue my father's legacy, it has also allowed me to express myself the way writing never will (after all a picture is worth a thousand words).
