Introduction I've been fortunate to have lived a fit and healthy life from when I was a little kid to an adult of about 30. Then I took a sabbatical of about 8 to 9 years where I believed that every day was my birthday and I ate too much, drank too much and didn't exercise a lick! Suffice to say I got really fat. And struggled with life in many ways. By chance one day I got involved with a group called Team in Training (a fundraising arm of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) and my life has never been the same since. I met my wife through TNT. I've traveled extensively because of it. I've pushed myself beyond what I thought were my physical and mental boundaries because of it. And now I've achieved a life long goal because of it - I've written my book 52 Simple Steps to a Better Life. The irony of life has reared it's ugly head in recent weeks as my father in law (who was also very involved with LLS) has been diagnosed with a precursor to leukemia. So I'm participating in yet another event to raise funds and awareness and puch my body to its limit.
Interests Spending time with my wife Lisa and sons Quinlan (four and a half) and Liam (one), sports of any kind, competing in races (running biking swimming and all three together as a triathlon), reading, writing, travel.
Favorite Books Atlas Shrugged, the Stand, any John Irving
