Contemporary Collectors Council of Laguna Art Museum

Introduction	The art trips are self-funding and non CCC members are welcomed on art trips if space is available. The Contemporary Collectors Council has one local art trip every other month. All Laguna Art Museum members are invited to join the Contemporary Collectors Council; dues are an additional $100 a year per person. A mission of the Contemporary Collectors Council is to use the dues to underwrite exhibitions or to purchase and donate contemporary art to the Museum’s art collection. Over the years, works by Laddie John Dill, Bruce Conner, Robert Arneson, Lita Albuquerque, Tony Oursler, Amy Myers, and Travis Somerville have been donated to the museum by the Contemporary Collectors' Council. The Contemporary Collectors Council organizes four to six art trips per year. Each trip includes a combination of tours of museum exhibitions, artist studio visits, galleries, and visiting private collections, along with delicious lunches.
