Introduction	I received my BFA in Sculpture in 2002 from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. After Graduating I got a job creating the patterns and molds for planters and fountains. I was lucky to have the opportunity to help create the ash urns in front of the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, and planters at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago Illinois. Unfortunately a severe back injury caused me to leave my job and focus on healing and make some life decisions. I decided that since I was not married and had no kids that is was a perfect time to live abroad. I moved to Ireland for 6 months then would return to the States for 6 months then back to Ireland. It was a wonderful experience that helped me to focus on my art again. When I returned to the States I began for my search for a small town that had foundries in the area so I could cast my pieces and a great art gallery. I found all this in Dixon, Il. I also found my husband in Dixon and now have 2 step children and a son of our own. I recently had a piece in the Shades of Gray Show at the Next Picture Show Art Gallery and won an honorable mention for my pointillism drawing of John Lennon. I am currently working on a piece for ArtPrize.
