Introduction	I am an Intranet Manger and Internal Comms consultant building experience and knowledge to develop a communication technology career. After traditional studies in journalism and public relations, I am now developing intranets and focussing on how enterprise 2.0 and online technology can assist internal communication and deliver real business benefit. I love the challenge of moving organisations forward in time with their people and the ‘outside world’but approaching progress in a way that suits and supports their business and people. At the moment I'm working in a sometimes conservative workplace while trying to deliver a new intranet on SharePoint 2010 (from relic FrontPage) and a new way of thinking about information architecture and design. With this also comes collaborative spaces, enterprise 2.0 and more! A lot of opportunity lies ahead. However, I'm also learning so this blog is also an experiment to help me undertsand the communication world of today. When I'm not at work, or studying internet communication you can find me reading fiction, running while listening to a loud ipod, swimming in the medium lane or watching the latest Aussie film release (with a nice red!).
