Introduction I am a middle-aged son, son-in-law, husband, father and grand-father who currently serves as Bishop of the American Fork 29th Ward in the American Fork Utah East Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am co-owner and General Manager of Nuvek, LLC, a software and technology consulting company. I am the author of "Solving Global Poverty - The Microfranchise Solution" which has been published in English and Spanish. I have a BA from BYU in Economics and Latin American Studies. I served an LDS mission in Peru and have since enjoyed a decades-long love affair with the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. My wife and I are the parents of four children who honor us with their choices and bring great joy into our lives. I have traveled widely, particularly throughout the Americas. Along with John L. Sorenson, I was an early officer of FARMS when John W. (Jack) Welch brought the foundation to Provo in 1980. I currently serve as Executive Director of Book of Mormon Central.
