| Introduction | I've gardened since I was four years old, and hope to pass on the love of gardening to my kids, now 5 and 6. I also work to adapt my life and household in small ways to the energy constraints that are already manifesting themselves and which will likely continue to do so in the future. My lovely wife is a native of Nepal and grew up on a farm there. She has broadened my ideas about gardening and about what to plant and eat.
