| Introduction | Hey Everybody! So I'm not sure if this blog will actually be possible/if I will be committed enough to write on here regularly, but I guess I can give it a shot. I can't wait to be hiking in such a short time. I'm hoping this blog will be something that gives everyone an idea of what my daily experiences will be like and that I can look back and remember how amazing a trip this was! I expect there to be ups and downs during the trip. Seeing awesome views, exploring new places, meeting interesting people along with hiking through relentless rains, braving the cold, having aching muscles, and countless other events will all play into my experience. I am excited for the challenge and know the costs of hiking the 2,175 miles to Maine will certainly be worth the reward. In the end, I am certain that this trip will meet my expectations of being the trip of a lifetime. So if you guys want, and in fact I encourage you, write any sorts of comments or messages. I can't promise I will be able to quickly or ever respond back (at least until the end) but I appreciate whatever you post in advance! |
