| Introduction | Tommy is a sports writer for the Iowa State Daily covering Cyclones sports. He has spent several years covering high school and college sports for The Des Moines Register. In 2004, his story about then Minnesota Twins third basmen Corey Koskie earned him fourth place by the Iowa College Newspaper Association for Feature Story Writing. In 2006, as a columinst for the DMACC newspaper, The Chronicle, Tommy earned the award for Best Columnist by the Iowa College Newspaper Association. |
