| Introduction | I have a bacheolors degrees in biology (genetics research and cell biology) and philosphy (ethics) and a minor in Chemistry. Specifically in genetics and biomedical ethics. I used to teach kids robotics and cell biology (on the side), while I did computing for Cray Researc/SGI/Cray Inc by day. |
| Interests | Computing is my work.. and my old hobby. I am a linux geek. My background is in Genetics and Ethics. I previously did genetics research of the 74EF gene in drosophila that is involved in metamorphosis of larva into flies, the gene has similar characteristics to the ets-2 human proto-oncogene. I have been a talking about functional genomics since 1988, as well as, a more systems/complexity theories for biology. It is not about just the gene, it is the system and the enviroment. genetics, robotics, computing, nano tech. |
