| Introduction | Describe your most memorable electronic music experience: I went to rave out on someone’s property way out of town July of 2010. The night started off a bit haphazard. My ride fell through; a few friends I thought were going decided not too…so I was pretty much on my own. I really wanted to go, so I just drove myself the 2 hours out of town. I got there, and once the night got going, I began running into friends. There are a few moments that I will remember forever that night. Firstly, I ran into someone who I didn’t realize at the time would change my life. Then later in the night, during the peak of a song, the clouds opened up and it started to rain, and then when the music dropped off, it stopped. I felt like I had been part of some tribal ritual. And lastly, I watched the sun rise to a backdrop of grimy bass. It was epic. I had to go to work that morning, but it was all worth it. I had truly had one of the best nights of my life. |
