| Introduction | Dr. Kahler is a scientist and educator. He has taught in traditional and enrichment programs at the high school level as well as in the traditional University setting as a teaching assistant. His dissertation was on a new technique for pump-and-treat groundwater remediation. This research was inspired by society's responsibility to maintain a clean environment. His current research interests are novel ways to use engineering to improve and safeguard human and environmental health. He is now working to implement science in policy at the national level. |
