| Introduction | I'm a totally right-brained illustrator in love with children's picture books. So much so that I have decided to write and illustrate one myself. Our rescue beagle mix Cosmo has a wonderful story to share and I aim to tell it! Hmmm, now we just need a publisher... I've been drawing and painting since my earliest memories and never looked back. After deciding to go to an Art College, I graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia PA. To supplement my artistic education, I've taken many continuing ed classes in art and creative writing, including the New York Botanical Garden's Illustration program. To supplement my education in life, I've been married to a wonderful left-brained man for almost 18 years, have two wonderfully talented sons, volunteer at hospitals with Cosmo as a certified pet therapy team, and held various positions as classroom volunteer, cub scout leader, cake & cookie decorator, cross-stitcher, guitar player,and practicing as an non-certified nurse within our family. I could go on but....you get the idea. |
| Interests | Besides art and writing, I am a voracious reader, especially of books for children and YA. I love spending time with my family, cooking, hiking, walking with nature and volunteering. |
