Introduction	I am a mixed media, collage artist who has focused almost exclusively on fiber art since 2004. I create art quilts, one-of-a-kind wearable art from hand dyed, painted and embellished fabric as well as home décor items and hand dyed and painted textiles for sale through galleries and my Etsy shop. My book, Fabric Surface Design, published by Storey Publishing was chosen by Jennifer Forker of the Associated Press as one of the top 15 craft books of 2013 and has been in the top 100 best seller list on Amazon in the categories of painting, fabric, home décor and mixed media since its publication in March of 2013. It is a comprehensive book covering over 80 surface design techniques. I also teach a variety of fiber art classes and workshops as well as lecture on the art making process and view teaching as an integral part of who I am as an artist and person.
