| Introduction | Yas is a National Certified Counselor. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky and her Master of Science and Education Specialist degrees in Counseling from The Florida State University. She has worked 10 years in career development at the University of California, Irvine, Loyola Marymount University, and Pepperdine University. Yas has created and taught university career and life planning courses, published a book chapter and several magazine articles, and has presented at international conferences on cross-cultural career development topics. In 2007-2008, she initiated and launched a career development program for a transnational shipboard university, traveling to 17 countries around the world. Yas is currently living in Southern California and provides both distance and face-to-face career coaching for individuals at all stages of career planning.
