| Introduction | I'm a pastor. Have been for 30 years. For 27 of those I have also been an Air Force Reserve Chaplain. Three or four weeks a year. What a hoot. Best of both worlds and a 3 week sabbatical every year for 20 years. Then 9/11. Called to active duty at the Dover Port Mortuary for a month. Home for 6 months. Called back to duty for a year. Home for a year. Called back to Dover for another year which turned into four years. Now I have become a civilian chaplain. God had / has a plan. |
