Introduction	Sixty-six and sometimes I feel it. Glad to be alive and able to keep learning. Anything I write on this blog is purely my opinion, or stray thought. It does not purport to be Buddhist teaching, (although I do hope it is at some level informed by the Dharma). It is merely what is coming up for me that day in general relation to my daily practice. Any opinions I express here are mine alone, and not to be seen as doctrinal, or the specific teaching of any teacher, unless quoted directly and attributed.
Interests	History, Culture, Film, Jazz, Blues, Art, Buddhism and a lot of other stuff too.
Favorite Movies	Anything by Ozu. Classics. Noir. Warner Bros. Cartoons, Documentaries and lots of other stuff too, I know what I like when I see it.
Favorite Music	Big bands, crooners, Blues, Jazz, Country before 1975, Blossom Deary, Bob Dorough, Keely Smith, Julie London, King Pleasure, Joe Williams, Dr. John, Toots Thielman, Donald Byrd and, yes, lots of other stuff too.
Favorite Books	To many to remember although "To Kill a Mockingbird" is in the top five and I just can't think of the other four at this time...
