Introduction	My name is Anna and I was born and raised as a Jehovah's Witness. I've been out of it now for 18 years. As much as I have attempted to completely ignore and separate myself from the aftermath, including being shunned by loved ones, I've come to realize and appreciate that it's a unique part of my identity. Subsequently, I decided to create this blog as a means to express my challenges and victories through a collection of my writings including narratives, poetry, short stories and journal entries. I will also post sites and blogs of interest to me that have helped (and continue to do so) my transition and rebirth into the world. I want to also offer a safe space for anyone who has left as I have, or is thinking of leaving to express or inquire freely without judgement.
