| Introduction | I grew up in the great state of Texas, but have temporarily escaped its gravitational pull and spent the last 7 years living in Indiana, Tennessee, and now New Hampshire. This fall begins my sixth year working in college admissions. I have also posed for a picture in front of 24 of our nation's 50 state capitol buildings, and hope to one day visit them all. At Dartmouth I have the privilege of working for one of the country's foremost colleges, located in a pitch-perfect (and picture-perfect) setting for academic discovery and personal growth. I grew up near Houston, TX and lived almost my entire life in cities with 1 million or more residents. I am loving small town New England life, which has provided me with a new way to think about community and how places can be vibrant and important without being large. If you are somehow still interested in me and want more insight, here are some items from my Bucket List: attend Wimbledon, play in a Beatles cover band, record a song, see a game in every Major League Baseball stadium, and ride in a hot air balloon. |
