| Introduction | I am a Fly Fisherman. I will always be a Fly Fisherman. It is not something I do, it is who I am. For me, fly fishing is not an escape, it is where I belong, where I am supposed to be. It is not a place; it is a life long journey. My Dad and Grand Dad took me fishing a lot. Fly fishing came later at the age of 8 and thats when I figured it out . . . be in the right spot at the right time with the right fly at the right depth and you may get a fish . . . if not, oh well . . . move on; more fish to deceive ! ! Why do I call myself the Journeyman ? At my full-time job, I am a Journeyman Lineman. I'm also a Journeyman Electrician, and Journeyman Meterman. So I like to Journey in and about the water, so only fitting I think . . . Maybe a Journeyman Flytyer as well . . . been at it for a few years as well. Note: You never stop learning . . . Everyone can teach you something ! ! |
